“My First Yoga Class in India – A Life-Changing Experience
In 2012, I attended my first yoga class in India, a journey that became my first real encounter with this ancient practice. I didn’t know what to expect at the time, but stepping into that class changed the way I saw both my body and mind.
The setting was peaceful, and the teacher radiated calm, guiding us through each pose with patience and encouragement. Though I was a beginner, I never felt overwhelmed or out of place.
What struck me most was how the physical postures, combined with focused breathing, created a sense of mindfulness that I had never experienced before. By the end of the session, I felt a deep sense of calm and presence that stayed with me long after the class ended.
That first yoga class in India set me on a path of self-discovery, teaching me that yoga is not just about physical flexibility, but also about finding balance and peace within.
